MKI MR2 4A-GTE Turbo Kit Now available for sale to the general public is the Speed-Source MKI turbo set-up kit. These pieces are designed to allow the experienced builder to easily install a Garrett T-25 or T-28 family turbo onto the 16 valve 4AGE or 4AGZE engine. The manifold is all 304 stainless steel, and features 1.25” runners. The flange is CNC machined 304 stainless, and fits perfectly! The collector is formed from stainless, and makes a smooth transition into the stainless turbo flange. The entire manifold is expertly fabricated on our precision fixture and TIG welded, ensuring warp-free construction. The downpipe is fabricated from a combination of stainless and mild steel, but then is ceramic coated for heat retention and long-lasting good looks! The piping diameter is 2.25” and mates to the stock exhaust after the factory cat location. A properly located flex joint and hanger allows for normal engine movement, and the pipe has both threaded and stock type O2 sensor bungs. A plug is included for the threaded bung for those that will not make use of it. The downpipe will fit both NA and SC transmissions. This set-up kit is designed to be used with the Garrrett T25/T28 family of internally wastegated turbochargers.
