These Are a Speed-Source exclusive! This is a Stainless braided clutch hose with Teflon inner liner. Why do you need this? The stock hose is a nylon reinforced rubber hose. As the clutch pedal is depressed, the pressure in the line causes the stock hose to expand some. This makes your clutch pedal feel less direct, and at worst can made it difficult to shift. Add to this equation the age of the car and heat from the exhaust and turbo, and the effect can multiply. These hoses will not suffer from this expansion, and give you back total control of your clutch. If you have a performance clutch with a stiffer than stock pressure plate, you absolutely need this hose! If you do any sort of autocross or racing events, this hose will help you gain control over your clutch. Even if you just have the stock clutch, this hose will improve your pedal feel! The stainless braided hose does not expand with pressure and heat, and is permanently swaged onto the fittings. I searched high and low for the correct fittings to assemble these hoses for the MR2 and Supra. Nobody makes them, so I made them myself! They are CNC turned from solid brass hex stock, and fit the line and locator perfectly for a 100% stock fit. The Mitsubishi lines are the best fit out there, hands down. The EVO 8 line is the correct length, fits the line locators perfectly, and has an attractive plastic sheath to protect the sensitive engine wiring from abrasion. The banjo fitting is correctly clocked for an easy install!
